About Me

My name is Josh, I've been an avid baseball fan since I was 11.  I was a bit of a late bloomer when it comes to sports, but I've more than made up for lost time.  Ever since the first few pitches of the 1998 World Series my mom sat me down to watch, I've been enthralled with America's Pastime.  I started out a Yankees fan, since that's who my mom is a fan of, but over time, I began to watch the Angels and go to games, and eventually, I was a fan.  I didn't really divorce the Yankees until they added uber-douche Alex Rodriguez to the team, so one of my favorite baseball moments is still Aaron Boone's walk-off home run in Game 7 of the 2003 ALCS, but that's just an awesome baseball moment.  I've tried writing sports blogs in the past, but never really had the skills or dedication before.  I started Angels Nation last April after being so inspired by Howie Kendricks Walk-Off bunt, that I had to write about it.  I'll admit, things were shaky to start, and I never really got things down until the season was over and it was too late.  I hope to keep Angels Nation for a long time, and maybe even turn this writing thing into a Career.  Oh, the extravagant lifestyle of a would-be writer... I bet my wife is excited.
